About the Workplace

Praktikertjänst Öregrund Health Center is a small clinic located on the outskirts of Region Uppsala.

The clinic is centrally located in Öregrund with beautiful natural surroundings right next door.

Here, you will work in a relatively rural area and perform a lot of advanced investigations due to the long distance to the hospital in Uppsala.

We aim to offer our registered patients continuity and therefore want to hire a fourth specialist in addition to two resident doctors. We want to provide responsibility equivalent to 1100 patients per full-time specialist.

In addition to traditional outpatient care, we have just begun working with Doctrin's digital platform MittPTJ, which provides the conditions to prepare visits with good decision-making support. We will also introduce Tandem Health in the first half of 2025 to optimize record-keeping in a patient-safe and efficient manner.

Furthermore, the clinic has district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, and medical secretaries. We have asthma/COPD nurses, diabetes nurses, and group activities both in the psychosocial team and through physiotherapists.

We offer high participation in business development. All professions are involved in the management group through their respective team leaders.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities involve regular outpatient work with primary responsibility for your own patient list. We also have responsibility for SÄBO, medical efforts for home care, and child health care. We participate in staffing the emergency center in Östhammar for 10 nights a year and will also begin participating in the Region's emergency duty about 10 shifts per year starting in 2025.

Qualifications

Specialist in general medicine or geriatrics.

Personal Qualities

You need to be comfortable working in a rural area, enjoy working in a team, and preferably be interested in business development.

The employment rate is 100%, but a small part of the working hours may be performed as remote work.
